Dolce Vita Hotel Preidlhof

We were really looking forward to our stay on the occasion of a big birthday, which was also announced in advance when we made the reservation. We travel worldwide and have stayed many times in 5-star hotels, including wellness hotels. When you arrive, you first drive up a very narrow path into a dark underground car park, where the reception is also located. Everything seems very dark and uninviting. After a 0815 check-in we went to the room and had a nice view over Naturns. The room was okay, but seemed cluttered. You walk up and down the sauna tower all the time, everything seems to be pieced together, old and new. What was strange about the sauna tower was that there was a nude pool, actually almost the entire area was nudist, but at the top the pool on the right wasn't? There was also an infusion with a show accompanied by "now we're spitting into our hands again.....gross national product". You have to like it. The dining area is just as nested and narrow, a new building and a more rustic room, connected by a narrow corridor. The food was definitely not 5-star standard. The wine list via QR code on your cell phone? Not sophisticated. Crowds of people at breakfast on Sunday morning, it was hard to get through, everything was much too crowded. Poor selection, especially not enough salads etc. Weird pool area, on the roof, in front of a building with rooms, somewhere indoors. You basically run yourself wolf. How does it work when there is snow? You can't get to the pool sauna or moonshine sauna underground. And the “best thing” at the end: the hotel completely forgot about the big birthday in the evening... Not a 5-star level either...
